Weekend review

An unbelievable betting weekend as all our rugby and NFL tips come off

We were 100% across the whole weekend! Four Heineken Cup rugby matches and three NFL games were all called correctly.

Another sterling weekend for us punters and I use that description advisedly as it should be lots more pounds sterling in the account

First, we started on Friday evening with a small back of Cardiff Blues in the Heineken Cup. That was a solid 1/4 win. Not massive but a win.

Then on Saturday we had a feast of rugby. We backed Leinster on the supremacy handicaps over Castres and they won easily 33-3 so a simple 10/11 banked!

Harlequins at a trade at 2/1 (in fact they were on offer as big as 3/1 before kick-off) against the aristocrats of Stade Francais was our next match and call. Well, we had concerns over Stade with injuries and form and were superbly rewarded as Quins won a nailbiter in the middle of Paris.

To finish we had Leicester Tigers at home to Perignan. Back Tigers at home was the call – another 1.7 in the bank!!!

Sunday we changed to our usual NFL.

In the first match we backed New Orleans Saints at home to Atlanta Falcons. Go straight up 8/13 was the call with the admission that I wanted Saints but would be trading. They won!! More profit.

Next match was Dallas Cowboys @ Pittsburgh Steelers. I thought this would be close and a great trader was my call. At 3-3 on a cold night at half-time the match prices on Betfair moved in the Steelers market between 1.4 and 1.9 about 10 times in the first two quarters. Pick the bones out of that traders and just bank the cheque!

My final suggestion was a straight up punt on home team Arizona Cardinals against St. Louis Rams. 14 Points was the handicap and Arizona won by more than that to bank another 10/11 win.
