Weekend review

Fletch reflects on a great weekend in the NFL

NFL

Well, we have been going superbly in the NFL. It really is one of our best sports and I think that is because it is so statistical. Anyways, onto this week. Our first game was a destruction of the Seattle Seahawks by the NY Giants.

I felt the Giants were far too short at 1/3 before play and wanted a trade. Now the result was an easy win for the Giants but in the first quarter they went as long as 1.48 on Betfair. The traders among us should have been in and out by then so although subsequent trades on the match were not good – it soon became obvious it was an easy Giants win – we should have been damage free or even in some profit.

The second match at 6pm was the Washington Redskins @ Philadelphia Eagles.

This had potential for an upset I wrote and a lay of the Eagles at 2/5 was a must. Well, the Redskins won and there was so much see-sawing action that this was a potential goldmine. Kerching.

The final game was a straight back of total points and the Cardinals and the Bills had almost covered the bet by half-time. Another 10/11 banker. Overall, it was a stonking weekend.
