Another strong weekend for the bankroll with tidy wins on the cricket and rugby
What a storming weekend of punting for us!!
We seem to have developed a pattern where we have a few weeks where we tear it apart and the account heads northwards superbly – then a week or two of not much where some punts work, but are cancelled out by others and we make or lose a little – and then off we go again on a great run.
It started on Friday in the West Indies v Australia One Day cricket match.
We laid Aussie early on a bad pitch and then updated, trading out for a set profit. Then about 30 minutes later we updated once more that above evens was far too big on Aussie so back them outright.
We used the profit already generated and left it up to the individual if they wanted to add in the amount they were initially prepared to lose.
Aussie romped home and a great profit was ours.
The same country, Australia, continued in the rugby on Saturday morning. At 17 points we nervously took as the handicap against a weakened France, and in the second period the Wallabies murdered them 34-13 for a comfortable win and more money for us honest punters at 10/11.
This was followed by our tried and tested lay of England in the cricket against a much better and constantly overpriced New Zealand side.
The first match at Chester-le-Street we lost money. Then we won handsomely in the third, fourth and fifth and would have in the second if the umpires had done their job.
Pretty good heh?
The only disappointment was Kevin Pietersen butchered the bet on being England’s top scorer.
After his 100 in the first game he shouldhave nailed that bet.
Anyway – a pretty decent series for us laying England consistently from 1.5 to 1.7.
A good weekend win on the rugger and we should be gearing up for a a fascinating Tri-Nations rugby series from the Southern Hemipshere.
I shall post later in the week on these.
