A strong weekend for Fletch, as he picked winners in both Heineken Cup rugby and NFL action
Heineken Cup rugby
Saturday started well with Leinster and Toulouse scrapping. There were not the swings I envisaged but there was enough play for the prices to fluctuate enough for us to trade a profit.
Saracens did the decent thing and did for Biarritz for a straight up win; and finishing Saturday’s games was a disappointment as Gloucester lost away to the Ospreys.
A reasonable first day of the weekend though – not special but not costly either and we should be up a bit.
On Sunday Wasps delivered the handsome win I predicted winning us cash. We won straight up and with handicap. KERCHING!
The Clermont lay and trade did not work well until the final minutes, as it started poorly – but the beauty of these low price lays is they do not kill us.
NFL
Just awesome, we did very well.
Firstly the Pats won leaving my long term bet alive and in huge profit. KERCHING.
I recommended a lay of Green Bay and they went 14-0 down in minutes, which sent the price above evens. Wait for a bigger Packers price or trade and the Packers should win was the advice. That all happened and there was also loads of points for those who jumped on 42+ at 10/11 (I was scared off by snow). KERCHING, KERCHING.
Colts lost to CHARGERS. I lost on straight up bets and points. NOT SO GOOD
Giants recovered it though with a wonderful win at Dallas. ‘This is my game for a shock’!! Right on there Fletch. KERCHING.
