The weekend bets were disastrous on the rugby but stellar on the NFL
I am enduring a rather frustrating time at the moment.
The NFL is going great guns again but rugby is a disastrous minefield – even though I have reduced the stake levels as the awful new ELV’s are proving difficult to assimilate by both players and referees.
Anyway – our early lay against NEW ORLEANS SAINTS with a view to then getting on them at a better price and already with some profit worked superbly as they struggled early – went 3-0 down – and then played superbly for the win.
Our TOTAL POINTS at 47.5 for 10/11 was also banked as it made up 48.
The second game had us thinking half stake home win which just missed as Dallas lost to the Redskins but our half stake on total points at +46 was easily hit as it made up 50. So an even game for us unless you were trading where there was plenty chance.
The problem is the rugby. Wasps beat Leicester on Friday night which hurt but it was a shambles of a game. Two colossal sides of European rugby looking dull under the ELV’s and then of course when Leicester looked to dominate the scrum Wasps did the old injured front row gag and we went to uncontested scrums.
If this carries on support for union will diminish and rapidly.
Then Sarries went and beat Saints by more than the 10 point handicap.
So a rugby disaster but the NFL was superb for another flat week. We are not losing money but we are wasting a good NFL season at the moment. GRRRRR!
