We had mixed results in the rugby but, as usual, the NFL pulled us back into the black

Saturday
We did not get the trades we wanted on the Leinster win over Edinburgh which made for a poor start to the weekend. However, the second game – Harlequins away to the Scarlets – was a wonderful trade for us. We saw Scarlets were far too short and backed Harlequins at 7/4 for a trade before we then watched the game ding-dong and end up with a Quins victory.
Sunday
Leicester Tigers to win at fortress Welford Road was the call for 8/15 and they duly delivered against the Ospreys. A good start to the day.
We did not touch Bath and Toulouse and the total points market was not favourable so we were out and eventually pleased to be so as Bath nearly won a low scoring classic.
NFL
The first match was a trading lay strategy of the team scoring first when Atlanta played Chicago. Well, it meant we layed Atlanta and then they extended the lead unfortunately. However, Chicago came back and we had plenty of trading wins and then in the final minute Chicago scored what would normally be a game winning TD only for Atlanta to make one throw and have one second on the clock for a successful Field Goal. What a game and plenty for us to make money with our set out plan.
The second game was Green Bay Packers at Seattle. I took Green Bay at 6/5 but as a straight up bet as I was not able to trade. At half-time it was 10-10 so the bet was still on and alive with every chance. Green Bay won handsomely in the end so that bet at 6/5 won as well.
