Tom Allen takes a look Blackburn v Man City in the Premiership action in England
Excellent work from Tom, here as Balckburn obliged, beating Man City 1-0.
We have been doing well lately but it looks a tricky punting weekend in the Premiership and stakes should be kept to a minimum.
There is one standout bet however and I am eager to take the odds against on offer about Blackburn beating Man City at Ewood Park.
UEFA Cup matches on a Thursday are never ideal preparation but Rovers cruised through against lowly opposition and have been playing very well of late.
City’s excellent start should not be forgotten, despite their defeat at the Emirates on Saturday, but they created hardly anything against Arsenal, nor United the week before, and Sven will need to galvanise his side. A trip to play Blackburn is never an easy task and it will be interesting to see how the foreign recruits adapt to the home sides physical challenge.
I am not sure they will be up to it and that means the 2.20 on offer in a place represents value. The creative skills of Bentley and Pedersen could prove the key.
