The Pittsburgh Steelers win with the last kick of the game as our NFL betting continues to pay off
A thrilling game in Pittsburgh saw a last-second field goal win the game while the Titans also saw off the Jaguars as the NFL is kind to us once again
Chicago Bears (5-4) @ Green Bay Packers (4-5)
Form is bad for both sides.
Chicago lost to Tennessee last week while Green Bay are on a losing streak – albeit they have been close games but it is still a streak.
Chicago have dominated this rivalry and could continue that this week. The question is whether they can run the ball better than Green Bay throw it because the match-ups and stats demand that they do.
Aaron Rodgers has the 30th ranked Chicago pass defense to pick apart and he should do so but only when the Chicago offense gets off the pitch as they should run Green Bay ragged. To me I reckon two such poor defenses screams points.
So I am backing Chicago first at 33/20 for a trade. I reckon both sides should get odds-on in this one which leaves us win-win. Also total points back at +42 @ 20/21.
Watch Rodgers for Green bay if he is hitting his wide men and how easily Matt Forte attacks the creaking Green Bay line.
San Diego Chargers (4-5) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (6-3)
The Chargers have been one of the most disappointing sides in the league this season. Their defense is woeful because average teams can make too many easy yards against them. That is why they are 4-5 and not 8-1 or 7-2 which they really should be.
A trip to the Steelers will certainly not help with Morre and Parker running well. There are some odd stats about this one. Steelers have won five of the last 6 against the Chargers and haven’t lost at home for over a decade in this one but they are on a losing streak in Pittsburgh having lost the last two squeakers. However, Chargers are not good enough to do that so I am backing the home team straight up at 4/9.
For those who are following the Tennessee Titans then I suggest they hit the red button and watch them against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
I am doing a straight bet on Titans here – the stats demand it – and so does their form although this could be a tough one. The price is 5/7 and a lesser stake as I will be watching the Chargers match too closely.
