Another winning tip in the 6.50 at Wolverhampton sees us in profit
Freepressionist came away with a win at 13/8 as we continue our stellar racing week
Wolverhampton
6.50 – Not a hugely competitive maiden and this one can go to Freepressionist who put up a decent second in her last start over this course and distance. She was always racing prominently that day and chased the winner from the 2f marker. She was then niggled along and responded well in the final furlong but unfortunately could make no impression on the winner. It was a creditable performance as the subsequent winner was rated much higher, so she did well to keep the margin down to two lengths. She now looks to be on a decent mark to win so she should go well today.
Of the rest Our Wee Girl is the obvious danger.
7.20 – With little strength in depth this one looks like it will come down to two from the field. Enlightened is having her first run on the AW today so it will be interesting to see how she handles the surface. Last time out she was held up in the rear rank and made good progress on the far rail 2f from home. She made her effort at the 1f marker but could make no impression on the field and faded inside the final furlong. It will be interesting to see how she fares today as the drop to 5f is not certain to suit.
My tip goes to North South Divide who put in a much improved performance over 5f last time out. He took a keen hold early on in the race and was close up to the front rank. He then made his effort from the 1f marker and pressed the leaders in the final furlong. He kept on nicely from there but couldn’t get any closer than third on the day. If he can perform to that standard again today it should be enough to take this.
