Sky Bet & Gamcare

Sky Bet, one of the UK’s leading betting and gaming companies, has been awarded with a certification from GamCare, a registered charity, and the UK’s leading authority on the provision of information, advice and practical help in addressing the social impact of gambling.

Sky Bet will now carry the GamCare Certification across all its operating platforms, including interactive TV, online and mobile phone, in acknowledgement of its achievement in implementing the GamCare Code of Practice for Remote Gambling.

Additionally, Sky Bet’s customer service operators have all received expert training by GamCare on how to identify and advise problem gamblers.

The GamCare Certification is awarded to operators that have successfully implemented the GamCare Code of Practice for Remote Gambling, so that players can identify companies that operate within GamCare’s guidelines.

Peter Nolan, Customer Operations Director Sky Bet, was officially awarded the GamCare Certification by Geoffrey Godbold, GamCare CEO, at an awards ceremony at Poker Summit Europe, the annual Poker Industry conference, held at the Business Design Centre in Islington on 7 December.
