Rugby round-up

A mixed weekend for our rugby tipster Fletch, but a couple of nailbiters meant there was trading profit

So how did we fare this weekend?

It started poorly as our first match in the Super 14Bulls v Brumbies, left us with a low lay of the Bulls that never really recovered. The good part was that our plan to lay them having scored reduced their price below 1.2, so we had a cheap bet that did not cost too much. Of course when these work the profit is fantastic so this one we have to wear on the chin.

The second match was a non-starter as I advised against betting if the Crusaders rested a lot of players. Once Dan Carter did not start and Ali Williams was on the bench I did not need to know any more. There were couple of other changes which should have screamed NO BET at us all.

Now the Stormers and the Waratahs I wanted to trade if I could. So it was glorious to watch this match finish level with a constant flurry of wild price swings from start to finish. Perfect for trading and some much needed profit.

And the Guinness Premiership match was the same for us as we wanted to trade between Gloucester and Bath and despite it being low scoring with Gloucester winning 8-6, the price moves were superb for us with our fingers on the trigger.

Therefore it was a better weekend than last and should have had us adding money to our pots. I would not claim it as a good weekend, but as a hard working, trading weekend that earned us cash. And that is what we are all about!
