Accomplished poker player and journalist Jeff Shulman enters with 19,580,000 chips
Jeff Shulman is no stranger to the WSOP Main Event having finished 7th in 2000, the year that Chris ‘Jesus’ Ferguson was crowned world champion. In 2009 he has repeated that great form and will enter the November final table in fourth place with 19,580,000 chips.
Shulman is not short of confidence either stating that, ‘there were a lot of amateurs in this tournament who didn’t really know how to play deepstacked poker. It was the easiest field I’ve ever seen in my life.’
If he brings that attitude to the table when facing off against the likes of Phil Ivey, it’s not going to be a happy day in November for the part-time poker pro though.
