Iain Fletcher gets it dead right for Hampshire v Warwickshire in the Friends Provident semi-final
Spot on here from Fletch. Hampshire batted first and scored 206, and the Warwickshire chase wasn’t up to the task, as they were all out for 166.
Hampshire v Warwickshire, Friends Provident Semi-Final
Firstly, a mea culpa about the Test match, West Indies were abject and cost my final draw bet.
My fault – a bad trade compounded by some shocking cricket.
Now, on to today and I struggle to see past Hampshire at home at the Rose Bowl. The concern is not their bowling but their batting.
If they get enough runs they will win and if the get an adequate score they still have a darned good chance.
Stuart Clarke, Mascherenas, Tremlett and of course Warne make them formidable with the ball. For the punter 3/5 is backable.
For traders it may be worth waiting a little and hoping to secure a bigger price.
