Leicester are in the Guinness Premiership final after defeating Bath 24-10
Leicester vs Bath, Saturday 3pm, Sky Sports
Tigers won in the Heineken Cup last week on the first ever penalty shoot-out. They squeezed past Bath some weeks ago and have a season that is still moving forward. Bath only have this game to play for but I watched them recently live and what struck me was how exhausted everyone looked. I think they have just run out of steam.
That is the main reason I fancy Leicester to continue their dominance of recent times. The price is 1/2 which is small but I really think we have to back it and trust the club on a good momentum roll.
Leicester 1/2 Back
Harlequins vs London Irish, Saturday 5.30pm
Injuries scare me in this game. Chris Malone, the back up fly-half for Quins is definitely out so it is imperative that the sublime Kiwi Nick Evans plays but he has been injured for some weeks.
Teams are due to be announced later today but on this pivotal position rests so much of Harlequins’ hopes. If Evans plays then Quins are the form side and in great position for a back at 4/6.
However, remove him and this game is a guess at best. So my thoughts are to wait for the teams and conditions tomorrow and as long as Quins are not depleted massively then we back them.
