Fletch was bang on with his assessment here, Wasps weathered an early Sharks storm to eventually come through solid winners.

London Wasps v Sale Sharks Sunday 1.30pm Sky Sports

A lovely match to see me out of the pub at Sunday lunchtime, and I expect Wasps to win well as Sale suffer injuries, loss of form and players to the Six Nations. However, the caveat before parting with the hard earned at 1/5 is to check the teams to see if men like Worsley, Robinson and so forth are playing.

Still, Wasps should win and possibly quite handsomely although 5/6 with a 10 point handicap was not cute enough to tempt me.

We must all be beware though that the Six Nations period can throw up some funny results in the club game, so for that reason i’m going for for one point, which is less than usual. Just a moment of caution but one that I feel protects us a bit.
