Three WPT National tournaments announced with combined prize pools of £300k
The WPT is bringing its low buy-in tour back to the UK for three events in 2015. The WPT Aspers Accumulator kicks things off February 12-15 at Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City. The buy-in is £200 and you can enter all three of the starting days and accumulate a stack to take into Day 2. Online satellites are running at partypoker now (daily at 2.5pm for seat only and Sundays at 2.45pm for a package) and there’s a £20 rebuy satellite at Aspers Stratford at 2pm on February 12. Day 1a kicks off at 8pm the same day.
partypoker pro Tony Dunst has confirmed he is flying from America just to play the event at Aspers Stratford. ‘I’ve visited the U.K. before but never played any poker there. I’m looking forward to my first chance in doing so at WPT National. I’ll be there trying to win all the pounds, and hold down the ping-pong table.
