Frenchman enters the November final table short with 9,500,000 chips
Antoine Saout is one of those rare things: a talented French poker player. Saout has been dominating online MTTs on Everest Poker for a number of years but before the WSOP Main Event he had never really troubled the live poker circuit. A minimum score of $1.2m obviously puts a change to that however.
In an interesting sidenote, because Saout qualified through Everest Poker he cashes in on the $1,000,000 promotion the site was offering. Everest equally split the million amongst all Main Event qualifiers from their site if one made the final table, meaning that around 52 players shared an unexpected $19,000 bonus.
Saout is a professional player and despite being low on chips he will be looking to follow in the footsteps of other great French stars such as David Benyamine and Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier by performing well on the Main Event final table.
