UKIPT Season 5 kicks off tomorrow and if you’re in London you can get yourself a gourmet three-course meal for free at the All-In Kitchen!
The UK & Ireland Poker Tour is back for Season 5 this week, and things kick off in London at the Hippodrome Casino in London tomorrow with a £250+£25 satellite to the £3k high roller at 1pm. The high roller starts at 5pm and runs through until Wednesday. At 7pm you can try to win your seat into the main event in the £50+£5 rebuy satellite.
Day 1A of the £700+£70 main event starts Wednesday, with two other starting days Thursday and Friday. There are also lots of side events with buy-ins ranging from £100+£10 up to £300+£30 for the London Cup which plays out over the weekend. Sunday sees the final table of the main event play out, and also boasts a £250+£25 Turbo Super Deepstack. You can get the full schedule here.
Free food!
PokerStars has also been running a unique promotion in London alongside the UKIPT. They’ve partnered with London foodies Jones & Sons to launch the All-In Kitchen, where you can get a really good meal at a drastically reduced price – or even free if the chips fall your way.
Book a slot and you’ll play three hands of poker before your food. If you end up with 10,000 chips and above you get your dinner for free. If you get between 5,000 and 10,000 chips you pay £5 and if you have less then 5,000 you have to pay £10. Considering the three-course dinner is worth more than £50 you’re getting a bargain no-matter how badly you run.
The gourmet offering will feature a ‘Royal Flush of King Crab Thermidor’, ‘Queen Scallops accompanied by Salt Baked Swede and Bacon Marmalade’ and ‘4 of a Kind of Lamb Chops, Rump, Kidney and Shoulder With A Rosemary Jus’.
Initially running for three days this week, the promotion has proved so popular that PokerStars have announced two more nights – next Monday and Tuesday January 26-27. Tickets will go quickly so be ready – they get released on Wednesday and you can book your meal – and see the full menu – here.
