Joe Beevers and brothers Ross and Barny Boatman have signed a lucrative new sponsorship deal with Grosvenor Poker. The trio, formerly three quarters of the famous Hendon Mob (alongside Ram Vaswani, who is focusing on non-poker ventures) have been rebranded as ‘The Poker Mob’ and will represent Grosvenor at tournaments throughout the UK, both live and online.
Grosvenor Poker are one of the true forces in UK poker, with numerous casinos throughout the country and are the hosts of both the GUKPT and PokerPlayer Tour among other top events such as the 25/25 Series. The partnership with The Poker Mob is a natural fit for both parties, as the group started their poker careers by playing at the famous Grosvenor Victoria casino in 1992. Joe Beevers says the new deal feels like they are going home again: ‘It means we’ll be back playing where we began. The Victoria Casino is regarded as the heart of UK poker; Grosvenor is a long established name with more card rooms in the UK than anyone and we are really looking forward to working with them and visiting lots of their poker rooms, old and new.’ Barny Boatman went on to say, ‘It means a reconnection with the grassroots game that I love so much. I’m looking forward to connecting with old and new friends all over the country”.
The Poker Mob are beloved throughout the UK poker community, and Barny’s WSOP bracelet win in 2013 landed a coveted PokerPlayer Award for Hero of the Year. This new deal is a great move by Grosvenor who will represented excellently by the newly named Poker Mob.
PokerPlayer.co.uk spoke with the Mob’s Joe Beevers a few weeks ago to find out about his new sports betting business, Betting Emporium, where he hinted to Online Editor Nick Pryce about a big poker announcement coming up soon. You read that interview by CLICKING HERE.

PokerPlayer.co.uk wishes Grosvenor Poker and The Poker Mob all the best in their new partnership – with Vegas and the WSOP just around the corner, another big result for the Mob out there would be a very welcome start to the relationship!
