A fascinating peek behind the curtains of the UK’s most successful poker player. Trickett came second in the richest tournament of all time in 2012, winning over $10 million in the Big One for One Drop. 2. Isildur scoops it
We’re more used to seeing Isildur tearing up the high-stakes cash tables but he proved he’s no slouch at tournaments when he won the 2013 SCOOP main event on PokerStars. Watch the final table and see the secrets behind his success (he’s a card magnet!).
1. Bet Raise Fold
We normally recommend free videos, but this year’s best is a documentary on the history of online poker. Made by Jay Rosenkrantz, Taylor Caby and Ryan Firpo, this is well worth $9.99 of anyone’s money. Just to prove it, here’s the trailer below.
