To celebrate the kick-off of PKR Live at Aspers casino in London, PKR have announced the signing of a player to their roster of Team Pros. That new sponsored pro is Eleanor ‘Elz442’ Gudger, a PKR mainstay who is the female all-time leader in tournament winnings on the site with over $225k in cashes. Gudger also grinds cash games at stakes up to and including $5/$10. For years she has been a popular figure on the PKR forum and regular players have been advocating her signing as a Team PKR pro for years. While not a household name yet, Gudger has been close to a major breakthrough on many occasions, most notably finishing 6th in the 2013 WSOP Ladies Championship for a $27k score.
Gudger will join an established team of pros at PKR that includes WSOPE bracelet winner Scott Shelley, and a pair of PokerPlayer.co.uk contributors in Sofia Lovgren and Simon Hemsworth.
