The poker festival’s headline event will feature an affordable buy-in of just $550, offering great value to players.
The Main Event will take place over four days in the prestigious surroundings of the Sports Palace in Tbilisi, from 28th to 31st May 2015. Main event packages are available now and players can qualify online with any of the MPN participating card rooms that are offering satellites with buy ins as low as €0.25.
Being the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi is ideally located for players everywhere in Europe, and no Visa is required for players visiting from most nearby countries.
“We are delighted to be able to bring the MPN Poker Tour to Georgia for the first time. This edition of the MPN Poker Tour looks to be the best value yet, and I know players will love the atmosphere in Tbilisi.”
Alex Scott, Head of Poker at Microgaming
Tbilisi is the MPN Poker Tour’s fourth event. The tour, founded in 2014, visited London, Malta and Tallinn in its first year, crowning ten winners in a variety of events including No Limit Hold’em, 5-Card Omaha and Open Face Chinese Poker.
In 2015, the MPN Poker Tour announced its Player of the Year award, in conjunction with the Global Poker Index. The winner of the award earns free entry into all of the MPN Poker Tour main events in 2016. With the Tbilisi event expected to be the biggest yet, players who do well in the festival will be in the running to take the title.
