Irish bookmaker Paddy Power has announced prices for the winner of the Five Diamond Poker Classic
Paddy Power, Ireland’s largest bookmaker, has opened it’s ‘to win outright’ betting market for the $15,000 buy-in World Poker Tour Five Diamond Poker Classic held in the Bellagio Casino, Las Vegas from December 14 to December 19, 2006.
Last year 555 of the worlds best players locked horns on one of the circuit’s great tournaments and it was the Europeans who triumphed.
Dane Rehne Pedersen won the event, pocketing almost $2.1 million and Finn Patrik Antonius came second for just over $1 million. The final table also included legend Doyle Brunson (3rd) and Dublin-born Phil Laak (6th).
