Head to PokerStars.tv for all the action
This year’s EPT Grand Final is set to go down in poker history as the most watched live poker event ever.
Taking place in Madrid at the famous Gran Casino, the final table, which is being broadcast in its entirety, is expected to attract somewhere in the region of 500,000 viewers from all over Europe, Russia and Canada.
Live coverage of the final table, minus hole cards, has already begun on PokerStars.tv, with hole cards scheduled to be revealed once play gets down to the final four. To avoid any potential cheating, the broadcast will be delayed by two hours though and is due to begin at 22:00 tonight.
In the past, PokerStars.tv has generally avoided showing player hole cards, but following the huge success of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in January, it looks like PokerStars.tv has finally warmed to the idea, so expect lots more live hole card action in the future.
