Big new casino opens in the Far East in Macau, with two million of the highest tech chips in play
As modern gaming and gambling goes global, Macau is becoming the Las Vegas of the East, with big casino openings, boasting cutting edge technology.
One of the highest profile as been the Venetian Macau which opened at the end of August, and this casino has high security chips in use on all 870 tables in the casino.
Following the standard set by most other Macau casinos, Venetian chose Gaming Partners International as its preferred supplier to provide nearly 2 million chips from the Bourgogne et Grasset brand.
These chips include exclusive security features such as individual high security holograms, ultra-violet pigments, Laser Lock infrared pigments and see-through inserts. These chips for the Venetian Macau, some of the highest security chips ever made, were manufactured at the Company’s facility in Beaune, France.
