Ultimate steps up its game with some welcome software tweaks and a new Player’s Choice series of tourneys

There are some big changes at UltimateBet with software improvements and the launch of a new tournament series.

The latest poker software update, brings to the table a host of new features designed to significantly enhance play.

The latest build boasts some nice new features including: A new resizable poker table function enabling poker players to expand their viewing area; the ability to tile and cascade poker tables for maximum organization; an option to save poker hand histories directly to a poker player’s hard drive; and a unique poker hand history video player allowing online poker players to relive an amazing win or brutal bad beat.

Existing ultimatebet.com players will automatically receive the poker software update the next time they load the UltimateBet game. New players can download poker software for free from UltimateBet.com.

In addition, the site has announced the launch of a new tournament series that lets winners choose their own poker adventure.

“We’re putting more choice in the hands of our players,” continued George MacLean. “Poker players have asked for more flexibility in poker tournament choice and we’ve heard them loud and clear.”

The Ultimate Player’s Choice main event tournaments take place online at UltimateBet.com every Wednesday at 9:30pm, Saturday at 3pm, and Sunday at 9:30pm – US Eastern Time.

Players can buy directly into the online poker tournaments for $500+30 or win their seat through frequent online poker satellites for as little as $20.

For every $11,000 in the prize pool of each main event tournament, UltimateBet will award one Ultimate Player’s Choice package consisting of an entry into the land-based poker tournament of the winner’s choice and the top players can choose from their favorite WPT, EPT, and WSOP events.
