UB goes multi-lingual

UltimateBet, one of the world’s leading online poker sites, has announced that its website is now available in 14 languages.

The new site is now available in Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, French (Canadian), Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Czech’, Japanese, Chinese and German.

MacLean notes that the multicultural makeup of the online poker community was particularly evident at the 2007 Aruba Poker Classic, UltimateBet’s signature island-based poker tournament.

Poker players from every corner of the world congregated in Aruba for the site’s most successful land-based tournament.

With the 2008 tournament already announced, scheduled for 27 September, the timing of the multilingual site is excellent.
