G launches legal action over Full Tilt handling
Tony G is reportedly putting all his heart and commitment into challenging the Alderney Gambling Control Commission over its recent handling of the Full Tilt Poker debacle.
According to PokerNews, Guoga ‘claims the commission was negligent in the handling of the Full Tilt Poker situation, failed to exhibit due diligence for their licensees and should be held responsible’.
Guoga alleges that AGCC knew of Full Tilt’s inability to return player funds before the game-changing events of Black Friday and should shoulder some of the blame for the ensuing carnage.
‘We believe they [the AGCC] knew about it a long time ago,’ Guoga said via PokerNews. ‘That security for the players’ money was not there, they hid this fact together with their auditors for years, benefiting in return. We raised it with them and they knew then and there.’
