The International’s New Schedule

Since opening up in late 2008, the International Club has quickly become one of the best places to play poker in London. Run by the former chiefs of the now-defunct Gutshot it is packed to the brim most nights with tournaments always well attended and often sold out.

For many though the real action is to be found in the side games which are constantly running. Thankfully, the International have catered to their customer’s demands and spread games at all levels, starting at a very affordable £1-£1 no-limit or pot-limit hold’em and going all the way up to £2-£5 where stacks of £10,000 or more are not uncommon.

While good players are typically scattered around the tables, some of the play I’ve witnessed has been borderline suicidal. Get down there, play tight and you’d be hard pressed not to come home with a bulging wallet.

The club have just announced a new weekly tournament schedule;

Mondays:
2pm: £25 NLH Deep & Steep Freezeout
8pm: £30 +£30 Round of Each (PLO/NLH)

Tuesdays:

Wednesdays:

Thursdays:

Fridays:

Saturdays:
