Bowmans Poker with a genius piece of internet marketing
Sex sells and it’s no different with poker. After the launch of Bombshell poker, where you play online against models, comes a viral marketing campaign from Bowmans Poker.
The guys at Bowmans have cleverly harnessed that old adolescent favourite strip poker and produced a game where you can play against the lovely Michelle.
It’s a great piece of promotion, but also a decent game. It 5 card draw poker, which some of you may never have played at a time when Texas Hold’em rules the world, and you’re playing for clothing removal.
OK, the articificial intelligence isn’t up there with Deep Blue (the chess playing IBM super-computer) but this is an engaging enough way to waste five minutes, and certainly a lot better than a spam email from an online poker room.
We’ve played it er, once or twice, and Michelle is a decent player, but hasn’t bought us a drink yet, despite sitting at the bar.
Draw poker is a different game to Hold’em but the hand rankings are the same and you’ll soon get the hang of it.
If you’re planning to play this at work, just make sure your boss isn’t around and you’ve got your headphones plugged it!
We’ve also had to put up with same strange looks from colleagues in the office while sitting at our desk in just our pants.
