Online poker giant PokerStars.com has reduced it's minimum deposit requirement to $10
As market conditions continue to hurt online operators, it seems that deals seem to be getting better and better for those players around the world still able to play.
PokerStars.com, the world’s largest poker site, has announced that the required deposit for cash games and tournaments on the their website has now gone down to only $10 (around £5) for the following payment methods – NETeller, Visa, MasterCard, Diner’s Club, Switch, Solo, Maestro & ELV.
Players can now take part in any of the PokerStars tournaments or cash games, for only a fraction of the original deposit cost of $50 (around £25).
Card room manager Lee Jones said, "Not only can our players now get involved for a much lower sum, but they can continue to play micro limit cash games on PokerStars for as little as 1 or 2 cents."
"These low stake games are very popular, particularly with those who might feel intimidated playing for higher stakes."
