The latest leg of the Sky Poker Tour took place in Glasgow this weekend and it was a remarkable victory for Dave Marley, who won £4,000 and the honour of double champion after previously winning the Newcastle leg of the SPT earlier this year. The recently anointed Sky Poker ‘Total Player’ Dan Brown came in 2nd – a bittersweet result after a previous runner-up finish at the SPT Manchester event.
It was another packed field of 150 players, all of which had qualified online at SkyPoker.com for the tournament. PokerPlayer’s own Paul Cheung was unlucky not to cash in the event. Cheung was chip leader in the early stages before finally succumbing in 18th, just outside the money.
The tour now moves onto Swansea in July before hitting Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham for the Grand Final. Players can qualify online now for the next leg, only at SkyPoker.com.
