Satellites Open for £25k GTD Grande Finale of the Sky Poker UK Tour

The Grand Finale of the sell-out Sky Poker UK Tour (SPUKT) will take place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June 2009 at the Dusk Till Dawn card room in Nottingham. Satellites to qualify for the televised live tournament will open this Sunday, the 22nd February 2009. Players who qualify through the satellites will join the top ten finishers from each of the legs of the SPUKT, which has visited Nottingham, Birmingham, Edinburgh, and is due to visit Newcastle and Swansea.

Sunday’s satellites start at £3.30. Daily Sit n’ Go tournaments to qualify for the final are also running. More details are available at www.skypoker.com

Bounty Hunter Championship Launches To Find Top Bounty Hunter Player

Following the launch of the massive £20k Sky Poker Bounty Hunter tournament, the biggest televised tournament of its kind in the UK, Sky Poker is introducing the Bounty Hunter Championship. The Bounty Hunter Championship, which has now kicked off, and runs to Wednesday 25th February, aims to find the top Sky Poker Bounty Hunter Player.

Two daily tournaments will take place at the following times:

£200 BH at 20.20 pm. Buy-in £5.00 + 0.75 = £5.75
£1000 BH at 21.30 pm. Buy-in £10.00 +£1 = £11.00

There will be a daily leader board for the top 100 players, and the top 10 finishers will win a seat in the £20k Bounty Hunter tournament and share a prize pool of £500. The Championship will be televised on Sky Channel 865.
