UK hotshot eyes €1m prize
To say Sam Trickett has had a good year would be putting it lightly. In 2011, the 25-year-old has won more than $3,000,000, played in the biggest cash games going and cemented his image as one of the UK’s brightest poker talents. This weekend, he added another accolade…
Trickett finished Sunday night as chip leader in the stacked Partouche Poker Tour Main Event, guaranteeing himself at least $100,000 when the final table return to wage battle on November 12.
The Englishman is the standout name in a final nine all desperately chasing the €1,000,000 first prize and he was quick to tweet about his success.
Trickett1986: ‘Is coming back to Cannes in November as the chip leader….booooom!’
