Stars arrive for Mixed Game Championships
What does a November Niner, a Hollywood actress, a Lithuanian loudmouth and several of the poker’s best up-and-coming talents have in common? They’re all coming to London this weekend for the Premier League Mixed Game Championships of course.
Matt Giannetti, Tony G, Jennifer Tilly, Mike Sexton and many of the UK’s best young pros, including Luke Schwartz and Andrew Feldman, have each ponied up $25,000 in the hopes of bagging the $100,000 first-place prize.
The 12 big name players will be split into two groups of six, to battle it out in rounds of no-limit hold’em, pot-limit hold’em and PLO, with the top three finishers from each group advancing to the final for a shot at the six-figure prize.
With Jesse May commentating, and the lovely Kara Scott presenting fresh from seeing out this year’s WSOP Main Event, it should be another great addition to the UK’s already stellar poker schedule.
