Pokerzone hosts final

Poker TV channel will lend its expertise to the live final of Bulletbusiness Industry tourney

Pokerzone.tv has been confirmed as the hosts of the live final table at this year’s long-awaited Bulletbusiness Industry Poker Tournament, to take place on December 6th at Bullet Business Europe in London.

MC for the event will be Michelle Orpe, presenter of Pokerzone’s Poker Night Live Europe on Sky Channel 843, while qualifying players include representatives from Victor Chandler, Party Gaming, Betfred, PA Sports, Poker Europa and Full Poker.

Now the UKs only dedicated Poker TV Channel, Pokerzone.tv is currently shown in over 16 million satellite homes and globally via broadband – reaching audiences as far and wide as New Zealand, North America and Europe. As a broadcaster and independent producer of Gaming related content, Pokerzone has been responsible for over 3000 hours of sponsored programming since launch.

Despite a sometimes difficult year for the industry in general, M.D. of Pokerzone Jim Sibcy remains confident about Pokerzone’s place in the industry and positive about their involvement in Bulletbusiness IPT06:

“Pokerzone’s sponsorship of the Bulletbusiness Poker Summit Live tournament is a fitting close to what has been an excellent year".

Bulletbusiness Director Mike Setters agrees – “We’re very pleased to announce Pokerzone as the live tournament partner for IPT 2006. We’ve pushed hard once again to create something fun, interesting and relevant for people in our industry – the response has been phenomenal with a huge increase in visibility and sign-ups for the tournament this year”.

The online qualifiers – powered by Absolute Poker and sponsored by iGaming Business and Pentasia – were a resounding success with some of the biggest names in the industry going head to head with rival companies and office colleagues.

Following some fierce competition, the dust has settled and industry players from Betfred, Tell Poker, PartyGaming, Victor Chandler, PA Sport, Poker Europa are all represented in the Live Final. Now it’s crunch time – one table only – who’s going to be crowned king of the industry!?

Mike Setters continues: “We’re looking forward to an exciting live final and two days of focused networking for the industry at the Poker Summit at Bulletbusiness Europe. It’s been a tricky year for the industry but we’re positive about the future and we can’t think of a better way to end the year than this”.
