Mega site takes aim at history books
How do you judge whether a tournament is big or not? Do you look at the prizepool, how many runners, what big names are playing? Well, this December, PokerStars hopes to tick all those boxes and then some with an all-mighty attempt at the biggest online tournament in history. Oh, and it only costs $1 to enter.
On December 4, the site is hosting a $1 MTT with a $250,000 guarnated prizepool and a tournament field it hopes will exceed 2009’s record of 149,196 players, which PokerStars also hosted.
Along with the massive prizepool, there are $10 bounties for any player who manages to bust a PokerStars Pro battling against the horde. And ElkY was the first to put his name into the hat, adding that ‘it will be great to see so many players come together to make history once again on the world’s largest poker site’.
The event kicks off at 5.30pm on Sunday, December 4. But be sure to bring some energy drinks, taking this one down isn’t going to be for the feint-hearted
