Brand new state-of-the-art Poker Lounge set to give London players unforgettable experience
The date has been set for the launch of the brand new PokerStars LIVE Poker Room in London’s Hippodrome Casino. Until now, very little had been revealed about the exciting new venture from the online giant, but finally we can reveal that as of March 4, the exciting new poker lounge will be officially opening its doors to the public.
The state-of-the-art poker room will be open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and expect a wide range of cash poker games, daily tournaments, plus plenty of big events. The London leg of the UKIPT beginning April 12, is the first major tournament scheduled.
Kirsty Thompson, UKIPT President and Head of Live Rooms Europe commented, “The Hippodrome Casino is the premier casino destination in London. Establishing this permanent PokerStars LIVE room will give more players the opportunity to play cash poker with the high-quality player experience that PokerStars is known for.”
While, Simon Thomas, Chairman of the Hippodrome Casino said that the poker room had been designed to provide the best player experience possible, he explained, “The poker room’s luxury interior design has been developed to take poker to a new level.” He went on to say “it’s location in the ‘Gods’ is unique and our ambition is to create a fabulous environment in which to play poker”
Another exciting feature of the new LIVE poker room is that it will give players the opportunity to qualify for both live PokerStars tournaments and online events in the new LIVE poker lounge, so it seems players will never be short of options.
