Star-studded cash game set to air on ESPN Classic

ESPN Classic brings European poker fans a new series that covers all the action from the brand new PokerHeaven.com European Cash Game 2008, comprising seven episodes of an hour each.

Episode one premieres on the channel at 23:20 GMT on 5th February 2009 and is the first of seven hourly slots to be shown every Thursday until 19th March. PokerHeaven.com European Cash Game will broadcast across Europe in English, German, and French.

The PokerHeaven.com European Cash Game is an invitation only, €10,000 buy in event, featuring some of the most established players in the world including the 2008 World Series of Poker winner, Peter Eastgate. The big winner was Eric Liu, a respected CardRunners instructor originally from Rockville in the United States. Liu finished 4th in the prestigious European Poker Tour in London last year and chalked up a profit of over €70,000 for the session.

Among the host of top professional players involved in the event are Englishman Neil Channing, the current Irish Open champion; and Andy Black, who has potted over $ 4m in career tournament winnings.

Catch all of the action from the PokerHeaven.com European Cash Game every Thursday throughout February on ESPN Classic.

From 26th March ESPN Classic will also broadcast the Cash Game Master Class, the first ever series on how to increase your success in cash games. The series contains detailed analysis of the action from the PokerHeaven.com European Cash Game with professional insight from two of the most successful players in the series, Eric Liu and Albert Iverson, and is presented by David Tuchman.
