PKR.com will host poker and casino games at T in the Park music festival in Kinross, Scotland
Everyone likes a good knees up, and as it’s Festival season there’s plenty of choice, and now you can play poker as well as rocking out to your favourite bands.
Scotland’s T in the Park Festival features some of the hottest acts in music at one of the biggest annual outdoor festivals in Europe.
This year PKR.com is pleased to announce a landmark deal with festival organisers that will see casino games and poker being played at a music festival for the first time.
“Poker is the new rock and roll. So this is perfect for our user base – young and active people who love to have a great time and be social.”, said Simon Prodger, Marketing Director of PKR.com.
As part of the deal, PKR.com will bring a little Las Vegas glamour to the event with the world’s first ever play money casino at a festival. Located next to the Futures Stage, the PKR Fun Casino will give festival goers the chance to try their hand at games such as roulette, blackjack and Texas Hold’em poker.
The first 5,000 visitors will receive a fabulous goodie bag with gifts worth over £15 and 500 lucky players will also receive cool spot prizes. PKR promotional girls will be on hand throughout the event to sign up players in advance (to beat the queues) and take photos that will be posted on www.pkr.com/t after the event.
Last year T in the Park earned the ‘Best Major Festival’ title at the UK Festival Awards. This year Kinross will be welcoming an impressive range of performers including The Arctic Monkeys, Razorlight, Snow Patrol, Kings of Leon, Avril Lavigne and many more. Tickets to this year’s event, running 6th-8th July, sold out in just 40 minutes but PKR.com will be giving away a total of 30 tickets through special poker tournaments and giveaways.
