Full Tilt Poker have introduced three high-stakes heads-up cash games with poker pro Phil Ivey
Full Tilt Poker are now hosting what could quite possibly be the three most expensive heads-up cash tables available online – the $500/$1,000 no limit Hold’em ‘Ivey Death Match’ table, the $500/$1,000 pot limit Omaha ‘Ivey Thunderdome’ table and the $2,000/$4,000 H.O.R.S.E table – which is known affectionately as the ‘Ivey Glue factory’.
These tables have been created to offer one seat to any player who wants to do battle with Phil Ivey, who is one of Full Tilt’s sponsored poker superstars.
One of the two seats will always be reserved for Ivey, but as yet no one has stepped up to take him on, although it has been rumoured that Patrik Antonius has been seated at the tables waiting for him.
One thing that is for sure is that players will have to have a pretty big bankroll to even think about playing these cash games, but while most of them wont be able to take a seat at the Death Match table, it is likely to attract a lot of spectators. However, people will have to keep an eye out for Ivey because there is no schedule fixed for when he plays.
Phil Ivey is considered to be one of the best poker players in the world. He has won five WSOP bracelets and accumulated over $7.5 million in prize money.
