PartyPoker gets the thumbs-up from UK based regulators
The feelgood factor at PartyGaming, the operators of PartyPoker, continues with the news that the company has been awarded a GamCare responsible gaming certification for the second year running.
The certification reflects the company’s commitment to providing a secure, responsible and trusted online gaming environment.
Off the back of record results announcements to the City, and massive windfalls for the founders, who recently sold tranches of shares in the company, it all adds up to happy days for PartyGaming.
PartyGaming, including their poker operation, complies fully with GamCare’s Code of Practice for Remote Gambling. This includes age verification systems, customer-led controls for spend and session play, and customer service training.
GamCare, a registered UK charity, has become a leading authority on the provision of information, advice and practical help in addressing the social impact of gambling. “As a market leader, PartyGaming is setting a fine example of responsible gambling,” said Geoffrey Godbold, CEO, GamCare.
John Shepherd, Director of Corporate Communications, said: “We are committed to responsible gaming and want all of our players to play on our online sites for the right reason – to have fun and play within their means. We look forward to working more closely with GamCare to make consumers more aware of problem gaming and help services.”
