Jose ‘Nacho’ Barbero has won the EPT London High Roller event for £556,000.
77 players, including many top names, stumped up the £20,000 buy-in but couldn’t trounce Argentinean pro Barbero, who adds an EPT title to his back-to-back Latin America Poker Tour Victories earlier this year.
A tough final table, which included Vanessa Selbst and Finnish pro Jani Sointula, failed to stop the Buenes Aires native, with Sointula’s K4 crumbling to Barbero’s AJ heads-up.
The final table payouts were as follows:
