Pokershare chimp Mikey ducks out of PokerPlayer's heads-up grudge match challenge
Mikey the chimp, the primate who was refused entrance to play in the WSOP Main Event, remains unsurprisingly reticent to play us in a retirement match after his bosses slated PokerPlayer.
Online cardroom Pokershare.com – ‘speaking’ through Mikey on his official blog at mikeyshare.blogspot.com – took exception to our accusation that it was trying to cheapen the biggest tournament in the world for a spot of publicity.
After questioning our journalistic integrity – and getting our publication horribly confused with a Las Vegas newspaper – we thought it only fair to issue Mikey a challenge.
He plays one of the PokerPlayer team and, if he loses, has to stop making any further misguided attempts to play in poker tournaments. In the meantime you can hear Mikey talk about PokerPlayer at www.monkeyshare.net.
