Simon Wing scoops first ever London Calling title
Simon Wing has defeated a field of 204 players to take down the first ever PKR London Calling £300 main event. Wing defeated Gem Husnu with A-Q against A-9 to scoop the £15k top prize.
The 32-year old from Middlesex has been playing on PKR.com for the past four years and used his experience to outlast PKR’s bracelet winner Scott Shelley as well as veterans like Neil Channing, James Akenhead, Barny Boatman and Joe Beevers.
The £300 main event was the culmination of 28 continuous days of live poker which featured 57 ultra-affordable events.
