Liv Boeree Joins PokerStars

When EPT San Remo champion Liv Boeree stopped wearing her UB.com sponsorship colours a few months ago it seemed clear that she had signed an agreement to switch to another online site. That site was recently revealed as poker powerhouse PokerStars.com. Boeree joins John Duthie, Vicky Coren, JP Kelly, Jude Ainsworth and Julian Thew on Team UK & Ireland Pro.

As one of the most marketable players in the game, the transfer from UB seems an ideal fit for Boeree. The 26-year-old received nationwide publicity after her EPT San Remo win, appearing on the BBC and in The Sun newspaper. She has continued to prove that she is a superb tournament player with deep finishes in the English Poker Open and £2,500 Six-Handed NLHE event at the WSOPE.
