Leon Bui takes down GUKPT Grand Final

Vietnamese pro triumphs at London’s Victoria Casino

As poker’s biggest names made their way to the EPT Barcelona last week, the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour 2010 came to a close in London’s Victoria Casino, with 207 players trying their luck in the £2,500 three-day Grand Final.

And it was Leon Bui who pocketed the £144,905 first prize, overcoming a tough final table, which included Hitsquad star Chaz Chattha, to lift the GUKPT trophy and book himself a place in December’s Champion of Champions tournament

The Grand Final also signalled the end of this year’s GUKPT Ranking Points race, with David Johnson, winner of November’s GUKPT Blackpool, crowned champ for £20,000 ahead of UK stars Alli Mallu and Neil Channing.

1 Leon Bui £144,905
