LEOCOP IV Event #11 results

The LEOCOP IV Daddy II was played out last night and Gene_R took the first prize of $25,932. It was a well deserved victory that proves perseverance pays off! After playing in seven of the eleven LEOCOP events this year, Gene_R finally came out on top of the pile. Second place went to TightSedFred and in complete contrast this was the very first LEOCOP IV event that he had played in. TightSedFred won $16,502 which is his biggest cash with Ladbrokespoker.com since he joined the site little over a month ago. Gene_R is now 11th on the LEOCOP Leaderboard and TightSedFred is back in 28th position.

Edward Ihre, MD of Ladbrokes Poker said: “The activity on the LEOCOP Leaderboard has been manic as the festival draws to a close. Players on the Leaderboard are trading positions on a daily basis in order to secure an exclusive invitation to the Masters Event on the 22nd November. I think players are trying to rack up as many points as possible to be certain of their place in the top 80 rankings by playing in as many tournaments as they can.”

He continued: “A cash in any of the remaining festival events and in particular the $250,000 added LEOCOP Main Event could completely change the look of the Leaderboard and ultimately decide who gets the once in a lifetime opportunity to play for a semi-final seat in December’s Ladbrokes Poker Million tournament. We expect record numbers to participate. The added money is reason enough but I’d imagine the chance to be playing in Poker Million for a cool million might also have something to do with it.”

The Daddy II was ultimately decided after five hands of heads-up play. Gene_R called in the small blind with 5h-4h, he was raised and subsequently flat-called. The flop came down 5d-5s-8d, which gave ‘Gene_R’ trips and ‘TightSedFred’ the nut flush draw with Ad-Kd. The turn was the 4c giving ‘Gene_R’ a full house and when all the chips went in the middle, the Daddy II title also.
