Ladbrokespoker.com dealt its billionth hand at 06.58 (BST) on Saturday 14 June and is now set to give away 20 Las Vegas trips of a lifetime valued at $14,000 each in a special invitation only freeroll to celebrate.

A further 200 runners up will play in a $109 satellite event on Wednesday 18 June. Registration to play in the freeroll tournament opens at 18.00 (BST) an hour before the tournament begins at 19.30 (GMT).

Ed Ihre, MD of Ladbrokes Poker said: “Over 12,500 people qualified to play in tonight’s $300,000 tournament and although all will receive an invitation to play in the tournament, the tournament entry has been capped, so only the first 6000 to register will be guaranteed a place in the Ladbrokespoker.com Las Vegas freeroll tonight at 19.30 (BST)”

He continued: “Originally we expected the billionth hand would be dealt on Sunday, but as soon as word got out of the activity we had planned player numbers escalated and the hand was dealt a lot earlier than we’d anticipated. Its great that so many people shared this special occasion with us and I look forward to seeing the winners when out in Vegas.”

He continued: At least the twenty winners will have two weeks to make arrangements before jetting off to Las Vegas with the Ladbrokes Poker team on the 2 July.
