World famous tournament director signs up to do his stuff for the Great British Poker Tour
Gala Casinos has announced the appointment of Thomas Kremser as Tournament Director of the Great British Poker Tour.
Kremser, one of the most respected figures in the world of poker, holds an impressive track record in tournament management. Starting his poker career as a croupier in his home town of Vienna, he is now Chief Executive of TK Poker Events.
Before taking on the role at TK, Kremser was founder and casino manager of Europe’s biggest card room – The Concord Card Casino, Vienna.
A highly accomplished tournament director, he has worked at major poker events all over the world including Barcelona, Vienna, London, Dublin, Monte Carlo, Deauville, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Singapore, Goa, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Bahamas and other exciting locations.

Kremser was the floor manager at British TV show, ‘Late Night Poker’ and won the award of inaugural election of ”Casino Staff Person of the Year” in 2001s European Poker Awards. He has been running around 200 televised tournaments in his career.
The second GBPT festival is set to take place in Teesside 4th – 8th April at the Gala Stockton casino, with attending up and coming pro players including Stuart Fox and Liv Boeree.
